anyway, to note a bit, the beginning of this posting was written on September 18, while further comments about Astronaut's video was written on September 20 -right after the premiere of the video-, so I'm sorry for any time-related confusion that might occur during your read. thank you for understanding. ;)
so, yeah, just saw the 'behind the scenes' for Astronaut's music video; and I'm so excited I can't stop screaming inside!
it's true. no matter how many times I watch it, it still excites me and makes me can't wait for the video to premiere on last nineteen -for additional info, the behind the scenes is uploaded on the seventeen-. and I always end up screaming every time the video ends. I really wanna watch the official video soon. ;P impatient, I am.
and no matter how many times I think of it, Astronaut sure is an amazing song, really relatable, and... I just can't imagine what its video would look like... so, when the behind the scenes is finally out and I got to see a little of the concept... 8D
they just can't stop to amuse me with their videos -and of course, their songs-, can they?
I love that fact. ;) after all, if Jet Lag's video isn't that captivating and if the song isn't that catchy -in my opinion, of course-, I might never find my way to them. garsh... they definitely have really great music videos and... -sigh- just wow.
and I surely don't feel sleepy anymore after watching the behind the scenes. -kicked- like I said before, it just makes me feel so excited, curious, and happy. haha. if only the same thing would happen when I'm studying or doing my homeworks, surely all of those physics problems won't be answered with crying emoticons. XD -kicked again-
oh, and when I wrote this first part, the clock has just struck midnight. that sure is something, cause up until this point, it's kinda rare for me to still be around the internet after midnight... but the behind the scenes really made me not sleepy anymore, so... heh. -shield myself from upcoming kicks-
and now... what else? the next part, maybe? :)
and as what I already said, this part is written after I watched the official video, so if my tone sounds different from how it sounds on the paragraphs above... well, maybe it's cause both are indeed written at two different times. heh.

okay...
turns out the premiere of the video is a bit late than what I already expected. heh. during the morning -it's Monday-, I'm already impatient that I can't wait for school to be over, but I ended up waiting until ten p.m. anyway... and the video hasn't premiered until that point. ^_^;
well, no one can really blame this, though... after all, the timezone in Jakarta sure is several hours faster, even though I'm still a bit confused of why the video hasn't premiered yet. I even tried to count the time difference and predict when they'd probably post the video...
...and honestly, trying to figure out the time zone is making me crazy. -yes, another Simple Plan's joke, feel free to throw me now; thrown-
so, after feeling tired and deciding to rest, I finally woke up early after a really long time. and turns out my decision was right. the video premiered on four in the morning. heh. a bit funny to say that I force myself to wake up that early cause I don't wanna miss the premiere... wish I could wake up early without such premiere, too; cause I surely never do it if it's for studying... ^_^; -slapped-
erm, shortly, after a long wait -actually, it's only a day, haha-, the video is finally available for public viewing; and I can't stop feeling excited!
I mean... it's really amazing, just like all of their other videos. it definitely retains the ability to create a hole in your heart and it captures the whole 'lonely' essence the song has, in my opinion.
well, a little cliche part -once again, in my opinion-, but it resolutes in an unexpected way. so, yeah, the ending definitely makes me feel that they are turning something that at first seems cliche into something fresh. ;)
and I mostly love the way the plot flows, the narration, the visualization, the song, the band's facial expression and gestures when they're playing, the emotion the video gives... -sigh- again, there's like a hole in my heart. I almost think I'm about to break during the bridge and the amazingly captivating soft chorus -or pre-chorus, I'm not sure... ^_^;-.
and well... I went teary; but sadly, I don't cry. I wonder why... maybe it's because I'm not really on my breaking point -not entirely feeling like an astronaut- at the moment, but... I don't know.
I'm just... well, so happy they made this video. if there's something that can make me become slightly interested in videos, then it would be SP -and all of their videos; the directors and crews they work with are just amazing!-. well, my brother can also be one of the reasons. he has all sorts of great ideas and I really love our conversation. ;3

and now, I just feel so relaxed. the video is definitely something great to start my day. :)
and just to add a bit, somehow, they always introduce new theme and clothing style to support that theme in each of their videos. just when I thought the clothes they wear in Jet Lag are extremely cool -I love Chuck's shirt and Pierre's hoodie ;___;-, the ones here... garsh... now I want that astronaut-thingy jacket! 8D -kicked-
shortly, love this song and all of their other songs! I'm glad I get to watch this video. and I hear the next single will be Loser of The Year...? feel free to correct me if I'm wrong -update: and turns out I'm wrong cause it's actually Summer Paradise; kicked-, but, if it is, then it'll be so cool. I love that song. well, not as relatable as Astronaut for me, but it's so catchy like Jet Lag. I'm always stuffed with excitement when I shout its chorus out loud. it's just so fun to screeeaaamm! -got hit by a brick-
-look at the clock- garsh, it's almost six in the morning here, so I guess I gotta get ready for school now...
so, again, I'm just really happy that I got the chance to watch Astronaut and I wish you guys feel happy too today. :)
