some protagonists.

[pic is finished on August 22, 2013; posted on August 23, 2013]
disclaimer: all characters belong to their respective owners. sorry for the short disclaimer, guys. I figure putting six detailed disclaimers would be way too wordy, so... -bows-

in horizontal order: alcoholic temperamental, clueless hard-worker, a big sweetheart, idiotic hero, slow joy-bringer, prince of smile. -slapped continuously- none of these names are meant in a bad way, by the way -these are actually all of the protagonists whom I admire! :'D-. I just love them so much and somehow it's more fun to write those things instead of simply putting up their original names. heh.

all and all, thanks for viewing this, guys. it was really fun working on this, so I hope that you can enjoy your visit here, too. have a nice day! ;D

saturday morning.

yeaaahhh! :'D -cheer upon this being finally finished-

basically fell for the manga over and over again every time I reread it. Ayaka is such a sweetheart. :') and this is... well, probably just a simple representation of what her saturday morning will be in Ayakashidou from my point of view, suppose Kasumi-san didn't have her to work on weekend, that is; although I think she probably did. -shrug- ah, well, Ayaka would definitely not mind, anyway. really admire her spirit and her kind heart! :') Takeshi is really lucky to have her as a sister. actually, they're both lucky to have each other. huff.

also, if you don't mind me sharing, I was actually pretty happy with how this came out, so thanks, really, for just basically taking a visit to this post, or more overly, this blog, guys. thanks for being so nice and hope that you're all having a nice day out there.

heh. thanks again, guys. well, I guess that's all for now. until next time, then! :)

p.s.: and, erm, if I may, counting this as the tenth challenge done for the art improvement challenge, which is to draw a fanart. actually, some of the challenges I've done so far were actually in the form of fanart, but... well... yeah. -slapped-

Ayaka.

disclaimer: Ayakashidou no Hourai © 2005-2006 by Kaneda Tatsuya and Fujita Kazuhiro, published by Shogakukan. can't find the reference through the internet -this manga must be really underrated; sob-, so here's a pic I took from the manga that I own.

part of the drawing improvement challenge, which is to 'draw a figure that's in action using a reference'. realized my mistake to use a drawing as a reference rather than a photograph several days back, but it's too late, so... :'D -melt slowly- also need to learn proper shading, foreshortening, and to be more careful when erasing so the paper won't be 'damaged'... -melt faster-

and thank you so much for viewing this, guys. thank you for the appreciation. and this manga... ah, this manga is just so good. Ayaka is just really amazing; I mean, she's just very kind and lovely and innocent just like all the manga figures I seemed to grow up with and I... well...
