finally trying realism...?

[pic is finished on May 25, 2013; posted on May 26, 2013]
disclaimer: Power Rangers S.P.D. © 2005-2006 by Sally Campbell and Charles Knight, written by Bruce Kalish and Jackie Marchand, published by Jetix and BVS Entertainment. link to the reference here.

...I, I don't know what to say. -facepalm-

the more I look at the reference, the more I feel that I've been drawing someone that's not Bridge. garsh... he doesn't even look like him. I'm so sorry... -sob- and suppose you've seen the reference, too, yes, I gave up on -or to be more blunt, killed; sob- the smile cause I still don't understand mouth or teeth at all. and complete 'spaghetti hair' here, as proko would say. the hair in the reference looks really dynamic with all the highlights. huff. and everything here is just so sketchy, I... -facepalm to end-

well, it's actually better than I expected, though, so despite all of the things that still need a lot -a real lot- of improvements, I'm actually quite glad with the result. :'D -sigh out of relief-

also part of the drawing challenge. this time it's to 'pick an actor and draw him/her', so I chose Matt Austin since I always loved Bridge and his overall interesting personality. missed this show so much and still wondering why they haven't made any sequel or just a movie of it until now, by the way. -slapped-

will surely try realism again one day since it doesn't feel as heavy as learning to draw anatomy, somehow, in my opinion. should put more effort into everything especially the mouth and the hair next time, for sure. :)

as for now, thank you for viewing this and for another visit, guys. comments are always welcome. heh. -slapped- have a nice night there, everyone!

random sentences; this time power rangers with an extra raw sketch.

part two of the random sentences kind of stuff, which now rotates in this beloved rangers' fandom. :) you can find the first version about Harvest Moon here if you actually feel the need... heh.

well, just like before, random sentences found in my english workbook, simply. and this is most definitely from my second semester in the tenth grade -which is about one and a half years ago- cause that's the time I'm really into Power Rangers S.P.D. and its adorable characters. -squeal- I actually still love them until now. I can't remember how tickling it feels when I first discover these sentences in the workbook -half of the ones posted here are even quoted from the show alright!-. and that third quote is just... garsh... Bridge is just so funny. XD let me have a moment to remember some of the funny things he said in the series now... -mind fly away somewhere; knocked back to the reality-

haha. anyway, guys, beside this, I also dug out a sketch of Jack in his ranger's suite. and as raw as it looks, it's the closest I get so far for drawing any of the cadets in their rangers' form, really; which is no doubt since I rarely practice drawing them. :'D

well, here's the sketch if you don't mind...

...erm, the right pic is not that proportional, I know. but, yeah, like I said above, this is the closest I can get to any ranger's suite, so... heh. -slapped- it's just that... for some reason, I seem to enjoy drawing them in their usual uniform more than their morphed state like this. I also happen to not know why there are the words 'wait a minute' and an emoticon there. -shot with delta blasters-

...and now that I think about it again, I actually haven't drawn anything from this fandom for a long time. -look down- I'm still interested in some Harvest Moon fanart, though, so... erm, sorry for S.P.D, but... yeah, maybe this is just not the time... -shot again-

well, lastly, thank you so much for the view and appreciation again, guys. hope you guys won't mind to stumble upon  more raw and old stuff that would probably come up sooner or later. thanks for always coming! ;)

-sigh- ...now I want to have a toast. a buttery one, to add. -sorry for the Bridge's reference here; his jokes are still in my head; would it be nice to rewatch the show should I have the time; sob; hit by delta megazord-

a few RPM gifs, I suppose...

disclaimers: Power Rangers RPM © 2009 by Sally Campbell, Charles Knight, and Jackie Marchand, published by BVS Entertainment. wanna include the writers at first but decided not to cause there were like... nine of them. :'D -slapped-

...and can't find the video for the episode, but this is what I found that still has some connection to the gifs that I make. below are those gifs if you wish to see them. thanks before, guys. :)

[pics are finished and posted on June 20, 2012]

so, yeah... probably some of the few understandable lines that Doctor K has in the series, in my opinion. erm... I don't know why, but sometimes I just don't understand what she's saying, especially when she's explaining about rangers' nano technology and stuff... might be the most complicated season off the whole Power Rangers series, too, but I sure enjoy it -especially the past of the characters- and some of the doctor's sarcastic comments a lot. :)

...and it sure has been a while since I watch Power Rangers. don't know if Samurai has aired yet or not in my country, but, erm... if I'm allowed to be truthful, after seeing the characters, I'm actually quite skeptical that I'll enjoy it as much as I enjoy RPM or even SPD... ^_^; well, let's just see what happens when I actually got the chance to watch it, then...

as for the gifs, the first and the third one are actually done several months ago, one being last year's December and one being this year's February. don't know why I stopped at the second one back then, but glad that I can finally finish it today so that the three of them can be posted here.

not to mention that the third gif is heart-stabbing at some points. garsh... how could you say something so hurtful like that, Doctor? :'/ -shot again-

and... -sigh- don't you think that justice is indeed hard to accomplish these late days?

well, sorry for suddenly becoming serious there. ^_^; heh. it's probably just me and my thoughts. I'm sure there are always people like Ueki out there that will try their best to make days and world seem a lot better. hope we can try our best, too. :) -and I don't know why suddenly there's Ueki here; might be an effect of rereading the manga a few days ago, so sorry for getting out of topic, haha; slapped-

well, in the end, thanks again for viewing this, everyone. have a nice time fighting for justice out there. ;)

framed toast. ;3

disclaimer: Power Rangers S.P.D. © 2005-2006 by Sally Campbell and Charles Knight, written by Bruce Kalish and Jackie Marchand, published by Jetix and BVS Entertainment.

[update - March 29, 2012]

decided to just include the pic of Bridge in this post now that I understand the function of tags -I'm slow at getting stuff, aren't I? ^_^;-. anyway, here's the pic and thank you so much for checking it, guys! ;)

[pic is finished on April 7, 2011; posted on July 1, 2011]
first of all, thank you to my friend who has lent me his crayons to finish this drawing. sorry I borrowed them too often. :'D -slapped-

and, erm... not really sure about the pic's title: framed toast. I actually just randomly choose it, sorry for that... ;___; and if I may tell, before this, I planned to name it with something that has to do with the word 'buttery' or at least something that is connected to Bridge, but I finally end up with this instead cause it sounds more... distinctive, I guess. :) it seems to alter too widely, though. :'D ...well, at least there's still the word 'toast' in it. haha. -toasted-

I did this on the cover of my school's test papers during my extracurricular cause I'm not that psyched to work on my Tangled oil painting -which I recently feature in this post- or probably don't bring it at all. and it sure is a new experience and challenge using crayons cause they can't be easily erased or stacked with some other colors in case I did something wrong...

but, despite all that and the fact that I don't understand any crayon techniques, I'm actually pleased with the result. :) I don't know why, but I just do. heh.

erm, maybe cause it's Bridge... -it's buttery!; wiggle fingers; thrown away- but it's probably not that... cause, when I think about it again, I love a lot of drawings that I made, so... erm... maybe I'm just too easily pleased with my own creations... and I'm not sure whether that's a good thing or not. -sigh-

anyway, looking back at the pic, it seems that green really goes together with brown, hmm? :) well, that's what I think; and the fact that they fit is probably what makes me feel that of all the three colors that Bridge has worn in his uniform, green is the one that suits him the most. heh. -plus he's my favorite character; and then the gloves, the toast, the wiggly fingers, the ability to scan aura, his interesting personality... haha, I'm starting to ramble again; got taped on the mouth-

erm, shortly, I'm really happy to be able to post this pic and thank you so much for viewing it, everyone. X) hope I can do more S.P.D. fanarts in the future and hope you guys are having a good time out there.

as for now... S.P.D. emergency! XD haha. -everyone just stares blankly-
