okay, the title doesn't literally make sense, I guess... but it's simply saying that this post is going to be filled with some stuffs that happened to me from late November till this middle December. and I do miss writing random stuffs, so... well, I think this is the time. :)
so, erm... sorry cause this will probably be another long and messy rant. feel free to skip if you're not feeling comfortable to read it. heh. thank you.
and now... erm, straight to the topic, one of the interesting events that happened to me lately is probably the 'Teacher's Day', which is celebrated kinda differently this year. to tell a bit, my school usually held a cooking contest to commemorate the day, but this time there's something more...
and it certainly something that surprises and makes me smile. ;)
so, yeah, after going through a flag ceremony and having the chance to see two amazing poetries being read by an amazing senior and an also amazing junior, we got to hear the teachers sing and my last year's Indonesian language teacher also wrote and read a nice poetry for us.
I must say that I can't really hear what she's saying cause it's kinda noisy at that moment, but I heard something about 'not giving up and how it's one of the saddest thing to happen'; and it's just amazing that she really cares about us and hopes for us to never give up and always try to give our best, specifically in our study. thank you, Miss... :')
and to add up, she even shared her story upon teaching for a quite long period in my school... I remember that the things she said made me teary; although, sadly, I don't really remember what she said. but I can really feel her love to her students and her job in her words; and that just touches me, I guess... she is, after all, one of the most committed teachers in the school, in my opinion.
-sigh- and then, comes my ninth grade's English teacher with his humbleness, telling us that from three years he'd been teaching in my school, he'd grown so much and that each year he learned something new from the students. he's also an amazing and caring teacher, in my opinion, so that all just comes true to me. ;3
and teachers after teachers said a lot of good stuffs... -sigh- for me, it's just really an amazing moment.
my principal even said several things, too; mostly about her and all of the teachers' inability to be perfect and to not be mad to the students when they did something that just simply annoys them. other teachers said that as well, I think. and it's really great for me to learn that the same stress people at my age mostly have also hits grown-ups. -sigh- thank you so much for widening my perspective, Misters and Mistresses...
anyway, besides being touching, the time when the teachers were just about to start this some sort of 'story-telling' is kinda funny, too. I mean, in the beginning, the Indonesian language and the English teachers I've told earlier asked us to check the newspapers we're sitting on -it sure will be inefficient to set up chairs at that moment- cause they've marked it with numbers and would love to know who got a certain number.
then, I checked mine and can't find anything; and so did everyone. -___-; and... -sigh- not long after, they joked about the number being kept in their pocket or something like that. and I just went numb.
...so, yeah, I fell for that. -___-; garsh... really, I'm just bad on realizing stuffs like this... haha.
and when my class master is standing, I thought he's going to do some story-telling too; but turns out... erm... well... all he did is instruct us to do some yell-yells, but I guess that's still something... haha. ^_^; ah, Sir... you sure know how to surprise us... -sarcastic side awakens; kicked- but you know that you're a great teacher for me. ;)
anyway, back about the event, after the story-tellings, we went back to our classes and then the teachers, with the help from some students, started cooking. what's different is that this year it's not a cooking contest, but more like cooking for the students. erm... if that's unclear -I think it is; sob-, each students got a single coupon and they can trade the coupon for the food the teachers cooked. so, basically, instead of cooking several dishes to compete with other teams, this year, the teachers are obliged to cook like hundreds of meals for the students. nice idea! :D
and the cooking tastes great. ;9
but, since it takes a long time to cook that much, my friends asked me to visit each classes where the teachers are cooking to fill the time; and we kinda just went into every classes, greet all the teachers, and... haha, basically meddle with what they're doing -oh, I love meddling; the Scooby-Doo gang should hire me!; slapped- and making noises. yeah, it sure can bother them -sorry, Misters and Mistresses- but it's fun. :P -kicked-
and... erm... what else?
well, I guess that's all for the 'Teacher's Day' celebration. this year sure is different and fun, in my opinion. hope next year's goes great, too. ;)
and the next Monday, November 28, the final exams for the first semester started. gotta say I had problems studying cause I'm just too lazy and that resulted my marks to be... well... let's just say some almost don't pass the standards and one didn't pass at all, which we all can already guess as physics... -sit at the corner of the room; slapped- but, erm, I already gave the teacher my assignment for remedial -or how you say that in English, sorry for my vocab XD; kicked-, so... erm, hope for the best...? XD
oh, garsh... I don't even know why I'm writing about this... I guess I'm just a little sad cause I know this year's result will disappoint the ones I love, again. I don't know why I keep doing this... -sigh- hope I can just give more in the next semester.
I mean, if I'm allowed to confuse you a bit now -slapped-, I'm not that disappointed with the test's result. I just feel that it'll be disappointing cause my scores fell down a lot from last year's test. haha. ^_^;
okay, basically, I'm afraid to say that I just don't completely think the whole thing about the test is important anymore... garsh, now school didn't even seem that important to me! -sigh- now I'm starting to worry about myself... -___-; what to do? what to do? -slapped-
erm... can I just alter the topic now? thank you. -slapped again-
so, erm... my class also got a cake for our class master's birthday this year! :D heh, I don't know. it seems that my class is just so cool this year and they sure tend to give out a lot of amazing plans and want the whole class to be a part of it. this is one of those plans. ;)
and to tell a bit, early in the morning, we thought about giving the cake as a surprise to our class master in our class cause it seems to be the most appropriate place at that moment. and during that time, we've thought about several reasons that could make him come to our class, including us wanting to have a certain chemical or math problem explained. yeah, like that's going to happen! XD -torched-
well... that's actually one of my classmate's response when he heard about the idea, too, haha. I mean, we've been marked as one of the most 'special' class in the natural science division, after all...
and the surprise is going to be given on a day when we're free from classes and have sport competitions instead, so... why bother studying? ;P -torched again-
heh, back about the surprise plan, well... we got two of our friends -I think- to convince our class master to come to our class, while the rest of us -including me- are ready in rows with a birthday cake full of candles in front.
so we waited.
and we waited.
and we still waited.
-bang walls while laughing hardly- but, as what you guys have probably predicted, he didn't go through the door at all.
and the candles melted onto the top of the cake. -laugh even harder; slapped-
again, I just can't resist a giggle whenever I imagine how silly we could look at that moment: standing awkwardly in silence to wait for someone as the candles on the cake slowly melt. I wanna laugh again. XD -now I'm gonna get scolded by the whole class, haha; ran before that really happens-
anyway, what happened to the cake is actually not funny for me at that moment -what made me laugh is the fact that we're waiting for nothing; kicked-. I'm just glad that some of my classmates managed to clean the cake from the candles. although, those candles did leave some serious damages at the words written on the cake. :'/
so, yeah... we finally decided to just take the cake to him. ^_^;
and, heh, it's really cool to be able to see him look so happy when almost the whole class -some students came to school a bit late that day, unfortunately- approached him with his birthday cake. it was so fun and he even appreciated the gift one of us picked. he also didn't seem to be bothered with what the words look like after the tragedy. ...ah, you're so nice, Sir. :'D
well, the next week after his birthday -this week- is probably what we can assume as a 'lazy week'; for what we mostly do is play. some brought their laptop, some played with their phones, some like me brought Nintendo DS -well, DS-lite, actually; stomped-. I only brought mine at the last two days, which are yesterday and today, though. but I'm having a blast. :)
erm, I actually don't play much, but it's fun that five of my friends played Mario Kart -some kind of racing game- together; using wireless communication and DS download play, of course. I don't have the game, after all... ^_^; and it really entertains me to watch them play. my friend who played with my DS wins a lot, too, haha. XD
and on one of those two days, I also had the chance to get a lot of help from a really kind friend for my SMT: DS, which has been stuck on the last battle for months now. I don't understand any SMT's strategy at all but thanks to her I learned a few.
and somehow, it's still funny when she asked me why I didn't crack a lot of skills and she was like 'did anyone even pay attention at the explanations in the first battle?'. cause apparently I don't. XD -kicked- well, I remember it being explained, but I never understand what it means until the middle of the game, so... heh. -kicked again-
so, thank you so much for the help, senpai! 8D gotta say I'm a little lazy to level up the character you asked me to, though. maybe not now, sorry... ^_^;
right now, I'm actually having fun continuing some of my old games; two of the most prominent being Harvest Moon DS and the first Rune Factory. well... gotta say not playing any of them for months -a year, maybe... ^_^;- makes me kinda lost for a moment, but I think I'm slowly picking up my memories. :)
and when I continued -just today-, I was like... somewhere on the late Spring. and when I woke up the next day, I suddenly got Nami's blue heart event. I saw her blushing face and I suddenly remembered why it feels so special. oh, I love you, Nami... X'D -kicked- I also got a wider view of the game and I believe that'll be really useful if I'm about to continue whirlwind. so, yeah, maybe I should keep playing for a while. heh. ;3
also, when my friend was playing Mario Kart, he said that he couldn't drift cause the 'R' button on my DS is kinda broken.
and that's true, sadly... I discovered this when I'm playing Rune Factory again; for I can hardly make Raguna run. he can still run, but only when I pressed the 'R' hardly. and... -sigh- it's just not really good to not be able to run during battle... -sigh- now what should I do? ;____;
haha, sorry for the babble. I guess I'm just over-excited cause I finally could play some of my old games back and... well... sorry again...? XD -hide before got attacked-
anyway, another thing that made me happy recently is probably the fact that I finally have Daughtry's Break The Spell. it's the first album of them that I bought -no luck finding Leave This Town a few years ago-, so thank you to my brother for insisting me to buy it on our visit to the music store last week; cause turns out I like it a lot.
and of all the songs in the album, my favorite for the moment, if I may tell, is probably Crazy -funny that Simple Plan also has a song with this title; there's even Gone Too Soon and I like that one, too; kicked-, but I enjoy almost all of them, anyway. so, again, thank you, Brother... you sure seem to always know what I need. :')
and... apart from that, so many things sure are coming out lately...
first of all, I believe my brother will buy Big Time Rush's Elevate when it comes into the store this month -he's a big fan of Big Time Rush, if you haven't known ;D- and The Fray's Scars and Stories will come out somewhere on next February, so... definitely a lot of things to buy.
I hope I can get Simple Plan's older albums too, especially Still Not Getting Any..., but I guess it's no longer available in music stores, except for the online ones. -sigh- I guess it can be delayed cause I've heard the songs in Youtube before. heh, like what I've mentioned above, there'll be a lot of expenses starting this month, after all... :)
and still about Simple Plan, I heard they're going to make a DVD for their concert with OSM and I would love to buy it if it's not expensive; cause I've seen some videos that the fans recorded and the sneak peek and I just love them. they sound so amazing with the orchestra, in my opinion. ;3 and I haven't watched the newest OSM videos that are recorded from their air on a TV channel in Canada, so I think it's great that I'm already in holiday. at least I have a lot of videos to keep me company when I'm bored. :'D -stomped-
and now... I'm just... -sigh- maaan... I just really wanna buy all those stuffs, but, but...
I feel so consumptive. ;____; -sit at the corner of the room-
-sigh- I guess I am really consumptive when it comes to music or books or stationaries... and gotta say I'm kinda sad cause I can't help my parents to get some money... and the fact that all my grades are probably falling hard this year... -sob-
okay, hope I just can give more effort next year. :)
and reading this all over again, I do realize my tendency to jump from a topic to another. garsh... that sure can be really confusing... -look down-
well, I hope you guys won't mind and can still understand. thank you. :)
and thank you too for staying with me until this point. this is actually the end of the posting cause I don't know what else to share at the moment, so thank you for reading, guys. :'D and sorry for all of the grammar mistakes...
and, heh, since holiday season is coming soon -and already comes for some-, I hope you guys can have a well-deserved break and a lot of fun! happy holidays, everyone! 8D
