dkv 1 - characters pictogram.

[pic is finished on May 3, 2014; posted on May 4, 2014]
mid-exam for dkv 1, which is to make eight pictograms from two different movie or series. chose winnie the pooh and ratatouille off all the fifteen available choices. am still sad about how my inability to use poster color well ruined the whole thing, especially skinner's eyes. -sobs- but, all and all, am quite satisfied of how this whole thing turns out. heh.

thanks for viewing, guys! :)

Anna. :')

Santa Day is tomorrow and even though I never celebrate it, it's always fun to see all those pretty lights and decorations and just knowing that Santa is going to come tonight. heh.

anyway, decided to finish this digital painting of Anna cause she's such a sweetie. :') also now that I've been running away doing digital paintings and all those random stuff for the past three days, might need to put more effort into dragging myself to do my assignment starting on thursday. I mean, yes, holiday should be fun, but doesn't mean I could simply forget about homework, that is. then again, the homeworks have always been fun, so I guess it's not gonna be a problem, anyway.

last words, happy Santa Night, everyone. hope you're all having fun wherever you are right now! :)

Tangled sketches.

some Tangled sketches cause I don't know where else to dump this. -slapped- it was pretty obvious that I got lazy whenever it comes to anatomy -sob-, but it feels very sweet doodling these two, really. ;) I fell for the lantern scene over and over. heh. thanks for taking a look, guys.

doodle again, wow.

just can't stop posting doodles somehow. and I still remember this despite it being first sketched around July or August and got sort of abandoned until today. -yeah, there's no need to doubt anymore that I procrastinate and fail miserably most of the times cause of it; look down-

well, still, I'm glad that I can finally finish this today. it just has been laying too long in my folder that I can't resist the urge to continue it. heh.

and for those of you that do notice, yeah, the bottom of the pic is indeed cut. I'm using a longer paper to draw this and the scanner just can't fit everything in one scan. -facepalm- but I'm still happy with the result, though. :') Rapunzel, why you have to be so beautiful and sweet and you're just such a cool main character, garsh, I love this movie. -melt-

last words, erm, t-thank you again for reading and viewing this, guys. I just feel so happy today and I'm so grateful to have all of you kind people around me. thank you and wish all of you a great day tomorrow and every days following it. :')

some old canvas works.

just posting some oil paintings I've done in tenth grade, which means somewhere around one to two years ago... not really sure about the dates they're finished, though. ^_^; -slapped- still, hope you enjoy the pics and thank you for viewing them, guys. :)

haha. I now realized that my human drawings back then have particularly short chins... :'D and then after trying to draw some real persons like Simple Plan, I guess the chins become a bit longer than before. just a bit, I guess... heh.

and in case some of you are not familiar to the girl in the drawing, it's Kate from Harvest Moon: a Wonderful Life and Harvest Moon: DS. don't know about aWL, but in the DS version, she has a giant teddy bear in her room and that's why I decided to draw her with a smaller teddy -or Daa-chan, as the game stated-.

I actually planned to make a fic about Kate and Hugh and Dr. Hardy in a completely different universe with a lot of science touches -and this painting has something to do with it-, but now the idea appears to be too AU for me. so that's probably why I don't think I'll make any attempt to continue it. I'll probably take the idea for something original instead someday, but I guess nothing will be done at the moment. ^_^; sorry, guys...

...and back to the painting, I just realized that her eyes in the official art are actually more... erm... purple than red. :'D -sob-

...the Rhino is just... erm... interesting. haha. -knocked down-

heh, I guess I should have tried harder on drawing the little guy back then... ^_^; but, in the end, I think I'm quite happy with this piece cause I kinda like the background. I love the combination of red, green, and yellow in the wall and the street's grayish feel. it's been a long time since I made that kind of wordart, too, so I sure am happy with the result. :)

...and it's also the first time I started using crayon for some details like eyes cause I didn't manage to draw them right using the paintbrush. actually, I don't think I manage to draw them right in this final result either... heh. hope I can keep practicing. ^_^;

...I can't create any alibi for Gothel's nose and face. -slapped-

so... erm... my friend said that Rapunzel is prettier in the real movie and that Gothel is prettier here. well, he's really sweet for saying that, but I honestly can't seem to see any IC beauty -she has this blend of elegant classic style and selfish nature- in Gothel's face that her nose is a bit... I don't know... burned? :'D

all and all, I'm a bit sad to say that I lost my interest a lot when working with this piece, but I'm glad I can finally finish it with all the elements that I need. and I used crayons too for the eyes cause I still lack the ability -even until now- to draw details using paintbrush. haha. -slapped again-

by the way, can you guys see Pascal? ;3 well, he's a bit hidden, I guess...

garsh... and those are all that I have. I sure need to get more better acquainted with the paintbrushes and canvases and oil paints if I wanna make more of these. hopefully I can, so that I can post some of the paintings I've done again one day. heh.

so saying, thank you so much for taking a look at these three pics and for thinking about some things during your journey through this posting. feel free to tell me about your thoughts cause comments sure are welcome and can really help me improve. thank you before and thank you again for the time, guys. :')

last words, good luck on everything you're currently doing. thank you again for the visit and hope to see you guys again in the next posting! ;D
